As I am " beginning my journey", I found this class to have what I needed for warming up and starting my practice sessions. Lots of good scales and techniques.

Easy to follow, and well articulated, and I already feel like I'm getting somewhere. It feels like brain training trying to read and follow the fingering music, which is good - definitely lot of practice.

Completed my course!

I am so thrilled to have completed my course! I am so happy and grateful to have had the opportunity to take this course and to have had Jonny as a teacher. He is an excellent teacher, who explains so well. He is calm and supportive and makes you feel you can do this! The documents that came with the course are excellent and so well written, and laid out. The whole course is structured really well. I have printed out everything and put each paper in a sheet protector and then put everything in a binder, where it can stay organized, clean and can refer to it. I love that by the end of the course, there are songs I can play, which is so encouraging when I hear that! I am so happy that life lead me on this path and feel so blessed to have come across Johnny. If it weren’t for the miracle of the Internet, I would never have come across this wonderful opportunity and his expertise. I can go over explanations repeatedly in the videos and reread my notes and practice some things again, as needed. The best thing is, you can always reach out to him because his teaching comes from his heart and his passion. I have purchased some sheet music of popular songs, and, thanks to the diagrams, I can attempt to start playing them, which is so exciting! Thank you Johnny for this wonderful opportunity. Really enjoyed this. Nice, small size chunks so that I never felt overwhelmed, but felt like I was making progress. Jonny's sweet spirit pervades each lesson. He has found his calling in life, it seems!

Very detailed and comprehensive in all aspects of proper foundation

Part 1 of this course, is an excellent introduction and very thorough overview and in depth primer to get the beginner student like me up and running in no time. It provides the student with how to properly develop all necessary basic and foundational skills as a good habit and what to avoid so one does not develop bad habits. I am very happy with this beginner course which has taught me many things I did not know after practicing the NAF on my own for 2 months.

Thank you, what a great intro in your flute! Wow I was scared taking the fetish off but I did do it and it's amazing that no sound comes out of the flute with it off! Very interesting and informative.
